Side Effects / Adverse Reactions:
There are no known adverse effects. Black Seeds are used in our daily food & it is an ingredient in more than 70% of the Ayurvedic Preparations.
If one feels Black Seed is too heaty for their body or if the patient has a history of gastritis, they should use it less frequently.
For Cough & Asthma:
Apply Black Seed Oil to the chest and back. Mix a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil in boiling water and Inhale the vapour twice a day. Take a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil daily in the morning.
Inflammation of nose and throat and tonsillitis:
Put a few drops of oil into a cup of boiling water and inhale the vapour. Take a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil mixed with lemon juice daily.
For Eye Infection, pain & weak sight:
Apply Black Seed Oil around the eyes and on the eyelid. Take half teaspoon Black Seed Oil mixed with carrot juice. For weak sight continue treatment.
For loss of Hair & Premature Greying:
Scrub the scalp thoroughly with lemon, leave it for 15 minutes, wash away with water and shampoo and dry well, thereafter apply Black Seed Oil to the whole scalp, continue for few weeks.
For Backache and Rheumatic Pain:
Warm Black Seed Oil slightly and apply to the area thoroughly as you are massaging the bone, not the skin and drink half a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil for 15 days.
For Headache and Earache:
Apply Black Seed Oil to the forehead, sides of the face adjacent to the ears and behind the ears. Take half teaspoon of Black Seed Oil, continue for about 3 days.
Mix half a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil with warm water and gargle the mouth & apply Black Seed Oil on the affected tooth.
